We’re excited to offer this elective after school instrumental music program for students in grades 2 and up.
Returning woodwind students from last year’s class are welcome, and new beginners are encouraged to join!
Miss Chiara Head will lead the program every Thursday from 3:45–4:30 PM, guiding students through hands-on instruction on the following instruments:
🎺 Flute • Clarinet • Saxophone • Trumpet • French Horn • Trombone
🥁 Percussion
🎻 Violin • Viola • Cello
Note: This class requires a minimum of 7 students to run.
💲 Program Commitments
$115 per Quarter
Invoices will be sent via QuickBooks and may be paid by ACH or credit card.Full-Year Commitment Required
Learning a musical instrument takes time and consistent practice. While we understand that challenges may arise, we ask families to commit for the full year. If issues come up, we encourage a conversation with us before requesting to disenroll—we’re here to support your student’s journey.
🎻 Instrument Info
Students must have access to their own instrument. We recommend using our rental partnership with Music & Arts, which offers:
High-quality, rent-to-own instruments
Convenient setup
Affordable rates: Approximately $25–$45/month
All rental payments accrue equity toward eventual ownership
🚫 Please do not purchase cheap instruments from online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon)—they often break easily and are not worth repairing.
📎 Additional Costs
Sheet music and basic accessories (e.g., reeds, care kits)
When renting, we strongly recommend purchasing the care kit—it’s essential, and not just an upsell!
🎯 Practice Expectations
To truly enjoy and progress with their instrument, students should practice a minimum of 4 times per week for about 30 minutes per session, with some flexibility based on age and attention span.
