💵 Program Commitments
🧾 Tuition
$50/month ($500 Total) or $450 upfront for full year, OR Until June 1 2025, there is a “returner discount” of $400
Tuition is based on a 10-month cycle (August–June) to account for pre- and post-year setup, as well as school holidays.
You’ll receive a payment link upon signup.
If more than 3 sessions are missed due to unforeseen cancellations, makeup time will be offered.
Class Schedule
Students are pulled from class on Thursday afternoons for approximately 45minutes. Students are grouped by ability level and rotated through a schedule that ensures they will not miss the same time period each week.
📆 Full-Year Commitment
Learning an instrument takes time, patience, and consistency. We ask families to commit to the entire school year to ensure meaningful progress and program continuity.
If you feel your student may need to withdraw, please reach out to us first—we are happy to work with you to find a solution before processing any disenrollment.
🎺 Instrument Rentals
Students will need their own instrument to participate.
We recommend our rental partnership with Music & Arts, which offers:
High-quality instruments
A top-tier repair network
Affordable rent-to-own plans
Rental cost: Typically $25–$45/month, depending on instrument
Every payment builds equity toward ownership
Important: Please do not purchase inexpensive instruments online (e.g., Amazon). These instruments often fail quickly and cannot be repaired. If you already own a quality instrument or prefer another rental source, that's totally fine—just ensure it's a reputable rent-to-own program.
📎 Additional Costs
You may be asked to purchase:
Sheet music
Basic instrument accessories (e.g., reeds, valve oil, etc.)
We also strongly recommend purchasing the Instrument Care Kit offered by the store—this isn’t an upsell; it includes essentials you’ll definitely need.
🎯 Practice Expectations
All instruments are challenging at first—but with regular practice, your student will grow quickly and enjoy the experience more fully.
We recommend:
4 practice sessions per week, around 30 minutes each, depending on age and focus level
📚 Academic Responsibility
Since students will miss a portion of their school day each week, they are expected to make up any missed classwork.
