Daytime Small-group Music LEssons

Tolbert Music is honored to serve OLV with their general music program, and excited to offer this new service of small-group music lessons. Mr. Daniel will be pulling students from class during the school day for 30 minutes of small-group music instruction. We plan to group students based on their age, ability level, and instrument preferences once we receive signups. Enrollment is on a monthly basis.

Once your student is enrolled, their spot is reserved for the remainder of the school year. If you wish to disenroll, please just approach us with a conversation about it so there is time to see if any repair can be made before we grant the disenrollment.

Absences: Student absences cannot be made up or credited. Teacher absences will be credited, which is a $40 deduction from your next bill. Major holidays are built into this monthly rate and are not made up or credited. Absences due to other school closures such as snow days and special events will not be credited, but will be made up with a virtual class. Mr. Daniel will give a heads up about when that class will take place and it will be take-it-or-leave-it.

Mr. Daniel teaches piano, violin, cello, ukulele, and percussion. Instruments will be provided at school for this first month of lessons.

This program is for students K and Up.

The Commitments:

  • $135: This is the monthly class fee. Please refer to tolbertmusic.net/policies for details on payments, absences, holidays, etc.

  • Incidental Costs: You may need to furnish an instrument and/or method book for your student to participate. We are here to help with that and have great deals on instrument purchasing and rentals. Books and other materials tend to be very cheap, but we want to be up front about the expenditures involved.

  • Make up missed work: Because our program will be pulling students during daytime class hours, students are committed to making up any work that they miss.
